"Generative" describes a musical system that is capable of varying and changing aspects of its own output. Some racks here may also be described as Aleatoric, which comes from the latin root alea, meaning "dice"; Aleatoric patches rely specifically on randomization to generate an ever-changing variety of sounds.

Many of these racks are intended to be a template to create and invent your own Generative systems. Play around, customize, and hack these patches to start unlocking the potential of eurorack-esque indeterminate modulation within Ableton Live's Rack environment!

NOTE: This Pack is only compatible with Ableton Live Suite 11.2.6 or higher.

KNOWN ISSUE: Ableton's Expression Control is still a little buggy. Sometimes when you open a previously saved project file, the Expression Control looks like the mapping has been erased. All you have to do is delete the device (the whole rack or just expression control) and then press "Undo". The deletion/undo of the buggy max devices seem to fix the issue... but yes, it is annoying and I hope that Ableton fixes this bug soon.
